As a member of Boise Family Medicine Center Dr. Mock provides the following services:
Primary Care Physician Responsibilities
- Basic PCP Responsibilities.
- Provide outpatient clinic care during the normal business hours of Monday – Friday 8a.m. to 5p.m., and closed on all federal holidays.
- Appointments only, no walk-ins, except emergencies.
- Recommend and coordinate the care of consulting specialists.
- Routine Office visits.
- Well baby care (Family Practice), including developmental assessment and patient/parent education.
- Complete wellness/annual physical.
- T.B. Skin Test.
- Preventative medical care including health risk identification, education, reduction and periodic screening.
- Well woman exam.
- Family planning.
*ALL annual/physical/well exams will have to be completed by appointments only- no walk-ins*
- Injections.
- The administration of antibiotics, vitamins, hormones, flu vaccines, etc. (actual medication will be charged out to patient)
- Opthalmology.
- Removal of foreign body, external eye.
- Removal of foreign body, corneal w/o slit lamp.
- ENT.
- Drainage external ear, abscess or hematoma.
- Removal impacted cerumen, one or both ears.
- Control of nasal hemorrhage, anterior.
- Digestive System.
- Colon cancer screening: age>50 yearly hemoccult testing.
- Musculoskeletal System.
- Aspiration or injection; small joint bursa or ganglion cyst (fingers and toes – not including medication)
- Injection of tendon, ligament, trigger points or ganglion cysts (not including medication)
- Care of routine and uncomplicated rheumatic or orthopedic conditions.
- Localized Burns.
- Initial Treatment first degree burns.
- Surgical Procedures – minor.
- Simple laceration less than 2.5 cm
- Incision and drainage of abscess.
- Incision and drainage of pilonidal cyst.
- Removal of foreign body.
- Drainage of hematoma.
- Puncture aspiration.
- Debridement.
- Destruction of lesion, anus (condyloma, papilloma, molluscum contagiosum).
- Suture removal.
- Reproductive System.
- Destruction of lesion, penis, with chemicals.
- Destruction of lesion of vulva.
- Treatment of uncomplicated venereal diseases.
- Dermatologic Procedures.
- Simple repair of superficial wound.
- Acne care.
- Excision of benign lesions 1-2 per visit.
- Excision of malignant lesions 1-2 per visit.
- Biopsy of skin, subcutaneous tissue and/or mucous membrane 1-2 per visit.
- Destruction of pre-malignant lesion 1-2 per visit.
- Wart removal.
- Nails.
- Wedge or trim.
- Evacuation of subungual hematoma.
- Other Office Procedures.
- Diagnosis of alcohol/chemical dependency.
- Recognition of psychological problems, including routine outpatient management of anxiety and depression.
- Treatment and follow-up of uncomplicated hypertension.
- Management and follow-up of uncomplicated, controlled diabetes mellitus.
- Dressing changes.
- Breathing treatments. Patient responsible for the apparatus and the actual medication whichever one the doctor orders.
- Urinalysis
**Note that services offered outside of member coverage will be offered at a reduced rate to Circle of Health members as they will have to be paid at the time of service**
